Elaine Liu is currently a full-time graduate student pursuing Early Childhood Education in the Mary Francis Early College of Education at the University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia. She received her Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education and her certificate in Disability Studies at UGA as well where she graduated as First Honor Graduate and Summa Cum Laude. Liu desired to be an elementary school teacher since high school and has had several opportunities to grow in elementary environments through the UGA program as well as study abroads in Italy and New Zealand. She is passionate about global education and culturally-responsive pedagogy, in which this website was created from the foundational perspective of establishing and addressing well-being in the classroom. As Liu continues her master's degree, she is also pursuing her ESOL Endorsement, Gifted Endorsement, and TESOL certification.
