Mindful Meditation

Mindful Meditation

To promote social and emotional well-being in the classroom, research has also encouraged the use of meditation and teaching mindfulness in the classroom. Meditation practices can be used as a foundation for building social awareness and peer relationships while also lowering stress and anxiety as well as increasing self-esteem for both teachers and students. Through meditation, students can develop positive self-talk and proactive thoughts, which can positively affect student outcomes in the classroom.
